When
I found out this site was closing, I realized that a part of B96 may be
forever lost to those who never experienced it for themselves. This page
represents the pre-format change era of B96, and after posting this, my
final message here, I want to make one point: I know many of you disagreed
with me and my opinions (evident from never-ending replies at the message
board). But we all loved, or love, B96. They made dance music real to all
of us. Never forget the songs from the best time of your life. The silly
trends like Los Del Rio's "Macarena," and Spice Girls (ahhh!), the great
not-so-known dance music, and B96's legacy left in countless mix tapes,
DJ Compilations, and songs that put you in the mood to dance. If you ever
have time, go through your mind and make a list of your favorite dance
hits. Remember INOJ, Matrix, Gina G, Amber, Le Click, La Bouche, Robert
Miles, and any and all dance music that was B96. PS- Thanks Sooooooooo
much Jim! I know I complained like hell, but you had a damn good site.

bye to my first B96 web.... It kept me sane while in a foreign country,
Florida. I really enjoyed searching for B96 and finding this site, which
brought me somewhat close to my favorite Radio Station from where I grew
up, Chicago. I enjoyed listening to the MIXES on line and reading about
the B96 goings on. I will miss this site, but am already registered with
the new site. I just wish they could broadcast over the web and put some
MIXES online just as you did with this site. You and your crew, if any,
are very talented and I wish you the best. Thanks for all the memories
and for keeping me sane while I was in Florida. Thank god I'm back home
